Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring high standards of service are maintained at all times
- Assist with food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards
- Support the setup and breakdown of catering events or restaurant areas as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables, counters, and kitchen stations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Handle customer enquiries professionally, providing information about menu items and specials
- Restock supplies and organise stock levels to ensure smooth operation during service periods
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless dining experiences
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable; restaurant or barista experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if required
- A genuine interest in food, beverages, and delivering outstanding customer service
