As we begin our journey, we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Care Coordinator to join our growing team and play a key role in helping us build an outstanding home care service.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a startup care provider and make a real impact from day one. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while helping to grow our client and carer base.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage care staff rotas using care management systems.
Ensure care visits are staffed effectively and efficiently.
Liaise with clients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals.
Support the onboarding and induction of new care staff.
Assist with recruitment activities, including interviews and references.
Conduct spot checks and quality assurance visits where required.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with CQC requirements.
Support the Registered Manager with audits, policies, and operational tasks.
Respond to enquiries from prospective clients and conduct initial assessments.
Build relationships with local healthcare professionals, community groups, and referral partners.
Assist with business development and marketing activities to support the growth of the company.
Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota as required.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience as a Care Coordinator within domiciliary care.
Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Requirements
Experience using care management software (e.g., PASS, Birdie, Access Care Planning).
Level 3 or Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification.
Experience conducting care assessments and spot checks.
Business development or marketing experience within the care sector.
Experience supporting recruitment and retention initiatives.
