Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic cleaner to perform thorough cleaning tasks across various bars and offices across Newcastle.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties in commercial settings, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures and ensuring hygiene standards are upheld.
- Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, following all safety protocols.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency across all areas.
- Must be flexible as starting times and sites can vary.
- Must be punctual and ready to work.
- Must be available weekends.
- You will be required to use our app to clock in and out of jobs.
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to adapt to shift changes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
