Hourly Rate: £15.50 to £16.00 based on experince.

Shifts: Rotational shifts including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins

The Role:
As Senior Support Worker, you'll play an important leadership role within the home, helping to create a safe, nurturing and child-centred environment.
Working alongside the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager, you'll lead shifts, support colleagues and help ensure children receive outstanding care every day.
No two days are the same. You'll be supporting children to develop independence, build confidence, access their community and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and support the wider staff team.
- Build positive relationships with children and young people.
- Promote independence and life skills.
- Complete high-quality recordings and reports.
- Support care planning and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations.
- Work closely with families and professionals.
- Act as a positive role model for the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach
- Sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and sleep-ins
- A full UK driving licence – desirable
