Salary details: Grade 7 £28,598 - £31,537 (pay award pending)
Contract Type: Temporary contract until 30/09/2027
Hours: 37 hours per week, Full Time

Working as part of a service delivery team the HR officer plays a vital role in providing HR advice and support across the Council.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of delivering the Council’s Workforce Strategy. Working closely with a Senior HR officer to support a designated directorate the role provides advice, support and challenge of HR issues and plays an important role in delivering interventions to all employment policies and people related processes. Along with working on employee relations issues the role will have an opportunity to contribute to the development of a modern, efficient and flexible workforce by supporting HR Lead officers with the development and implementation of a variety of corporate strategies.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude capable of working in a busy and demanding environment. You will need experience of working in HR and a willingness to develop your knowledge and experience. It is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive team working in a fast-paced environment where no two days will be the same.
