We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Website Content and Accessibility Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Council's IMT Digital Strategy to ensure our online services are accessible to all. This role involves working with the IMT Digital team to shape our website governance, standards, and reporting frameworks, and develop an accessibility improvement plan across all websites and online services provided by the council.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a sound understanding of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to ensure the Authority remains compliant with Cabinet Office requirements.
This role requires engagement with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure digital content complies with Government Accessibility regulations.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they have the following skills, knowledge, and work experience.
- Experience with writing accessible content.
- Experience using website content management systems.
- Experience providing training.
- Familiarity with privacy legislation (UK Data Protection Act 2018, Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations
- Experience undertaking manual website accessibility audits.
