The Whitehouse Dental Clinic is seeking a caring, diligent and enthusiastic dental nurse to join the team.
Location: Farnham, Surrey (GU9)
Hours: Mon-Thu 7.45am-5.30pm
Salary: £15-£17 p/h
The Role
As a dental nurse, you will work closely with our dentists and wider clinical team to ensure the smooth running of the surgery and provide a high standard of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing effective chairside support to our dentists and hygienists
Preparing and setting up surgeries for treatment
Decontamination and sterilisation of dental instruments in line with current guidance
Maintaining a high standard of cross-infection control
Welcoming and reassuring patients throughout their visit
Maintaining accurate clinical records
Supporting the practice team with day-to-day duties
Ensuring compliance with relevant GDC standards and professional requirements
About you
The successful candidate should be:
GDC registered and qualified as a Dental Nurse
Professional, reliable and well organised
Friendly and approachable with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Passionate about patient care
Confident working alongside dentists and the wider clinical team
Committed to maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control
Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Keen to continue their professional development and undertake CPD in line with GDC requirements.
At least 2 years of dental experience is required.
