Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for safely delivering goods to various locations while also managing warehouse tasks such as stock handling, loading, unloading, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs.
- Load and unload goods efficiently using appropriate manual handling techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements.
- Assist with warehouse organization, including stock rotation, storage, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and driving laws to ensure a secure working environment.
Requirements
- Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent commercial driving license.
- Experience in commercial driving and knowledge of local routes.
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily duties.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients.
- Reliable, punctual, with a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency.
