Express German Spares is a clean and organised vehicle dismantling business based in Harlow. We purchase damaged and insurance write-off vehicles, dismantle them and sell the parts through our large eBay store.
We are looking for a reliable, physically capable and motivated person with good practical knowledge of cars and automotive parts.
This is a fast-paced hands-on position. It is not a basic packing-only role. You will need to identify automotive parts, work accurately and complete daily tasks without constant supervision.
Main responsibilities
- Pack daily customer orders safely, accurately and efficiently
- Check parts and shipping labels before dispatch
- Pick customer orders from warehouse locations
- Take clear and consistent photographs of automotive parts
- Label parts correctly
- Place photographed parts into the correct warehouse locations
- Keep warehouse locations organised and easy to access
- Identify damaged, incorrectly labelled or misplaced parts
- Assist with moving and handling automotive parts safely
- Support the vehicle dismantler when required
- Use a smartphone and our warehouse systems after training
- Keep the working and packing areas clean and organised
Requirements
- Good practical knowledge of cars and automotive parts
- Ability to recognise common vehicle components
- Previous automotive, mechanical, tyre fitting, bodyshop, parts or vehicle dismantling experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy
- Good attention to detail
- Physically capable of working on your feet throughout the day
- Comfortable lifting and moving automotive parts safely
- Confident using a smartphone and mobile applications
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Able to remember instructions and work independently after training
- Looking for stable, long-term employment

- 9:00am–6:00pm
