Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Workshop Technician to join our well established and growing team, specialising in the service, repair and hire of commercial cleaning equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for a range of jet wash equipment and commercial cleaning systems. Responsibilities
- Conduct service, maintenance, and repair of commercial cleaning equipment and jet wash systems within our Head Office in Brunswick Industrial Estate, NE13 7BA.
- Identify and diagnose potential mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Repair and replace faulty components using hand tools and specialised equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic instruments for repairs.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Skills
- Proven experience in mechanical or electrical repair within a workshop environment is desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good communication skills for documenting work and liaising with team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to workshop operations is essential
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and technical software is advantageous

Pay: £24,420.00-£40,000.00 per year
