SHC Engineering Services is a specialist VW campervan conversion company with a passion for the van lifestyle. From keeping classic Volkswagens on the road to building bespoke campervans, we're proud of the work we do and the community we've built around it.
We're looking for a reliable, organised, and enthusiastic Part-Time Stockroom & Retail Assistant to support our growing business.
Your Role
You'll play a key part in keeping our workshop and retail operations running smoothly. No two days are the same, and you'll be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
- Picking, packing, and wrapping customer orders
- Bagging and preparing stock items
- Booking and dispatching parcels
- Receiving and organising incoming stock
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised stockroom
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
- Supporting the day-to-day running of our retail area
- Providing friendly and professional customer service, both in person and over the phone
- Helping wherever needed to keep the business running efficiently
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
- Comfortable using computers and basic software
- Physically capable of lifting and moving parcels when required
- A team player with a positive attitude
