Jewson are looking for a Yard Sales/ Tool Hire Adviser to join the friendly and supportive team at our branch in Hayle . This role will involve working in a number of different departments within the branch, such as, the Yard and Tool Hire.
On occasions, as part of this role, you will be required to drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver and collect customer orders, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time role working 27 hours per week (Hours can be flexible and will be discussed at interview), AND every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00 .
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor
Deliver day-to-day tool hire activities, deploying resource to ensure efficient, effective and safe operations
Deliver and collect customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring orders are accurate and all equipment is secured and loaded/offloaded safely in accordance with company procedures
Conduct pre-delivery checks to ensure tools and machinery are clean, safe, and fully operational
Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles
