We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager to support the daily running of a busy, fast-paced kitchen. This role is ideal for someone who can run strong shifts, support the team, and help improve day-to-day operations as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations and shift performance
- Manage staff, delegate tasks, and maintain high standards
- Ensure fast service, food quality, and consistency
- Handle opening and closing procedures
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
Supporting Operations & Improvements:
- Assist in improving daily systems and ways of working
- Help maintain and follow SOPs and checklists
- Support moving towards more organised and digital processes
- Identify simple improvements to speed, efficiency, and consistency
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year experience in a supervisory or similar role
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen / QSR environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Reliable, organised, and proactive
