Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle
- Transport materials to and from construction sites, quarries, and depots
- Perform tipping operations in a controlled and safe manner
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (walkaround inspections)
- Ensure loads are secure and compliant with weight regulations
- Complete delivery notes, paperwork, and digital logs
- Follow all health & safety regulations and site rules
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- Communicate with site managers, planners, and customers
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience driving tipper vehicles (preferred but not always essential)
- Good knowledge of UK road laws and driving regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Strong awareness of safety procedures
- Good spatial awareness and reversing skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Basic mechanical awareness (for reporting faults)
- Good communication skills
Working Conditions
- Early starts and variable working hours
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Driving to construction sites, quarries, and urban areas
- Some manual tasks may be required (e.g., Keep the truck clean as you expect)
- Wheel nut retorque check

Pay: From £13.00 to 15.00 per hour
