About Us
Willow Hair is a well-established salon in the heart of Highgate Village. We offer high quality hairdressing in a friendly, relaxed environment, with services including cutting & styling, colour, balayage, highlights, and hair extensions.
We are looking for a reliable and friendly salon assistant to join our busy team with an immediate start.
The Role
This role would suit someone with previous salon experience who is confident shampooing clients and enjoys working in a busy salon environment.
Duties will include:
- Shampooing clients
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy
- Laundry and general salon upkeep
- Preparing refreshments for clients
- Assisting stylists throughout the day
- Greeting clients and some reception duties
- Answering the phone and booking appointments
What We’re Looking For
We would love to hear from someone who is:
- Friendly and confident with clients
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a busy salon
- Confident shampooing clients
- A good communicator with excellent customer service
Hours
We are ideally looking for someone available for:
- Monday 9am–5pm
- Tuesday 9am–5pm
- Thursday 12pm–8pm
Plus either:
- Friday 9:15am–6:15pm
- or
- Saturday 9am–6pmThere is some flexibility with days and hours for the right person.

Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year hairdressing or salon experience preferred
Additional Information
Shortlisted applicants will first be invited for a brief interview and salon assessment. Successful candidates may then be invited to attend a paid trial day following interview.
