We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cyber Security Professional Not Elsewhere Classified to join our innovative security team FOR TRIPLE A CLOUDSCAPE LIMITED. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our organization’s digital assets by implementing, monitoring, and maintaining comprehensive cybersecurity measures across diverse IT environments. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security protocols aligned with industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27002 to protect organizational data and infrastructure.
- Manage and configure network security devices including firewalls (Cisco ASA), intrusion detection systems (IDS), and VPN solutions to monitor and control network traffic.
- Administer and support network infrastructure components such as LAN, WAN, routers (Cisco, Juniper), switches, and load balancers to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Conduct incident response activities by analyzing security alerts through SIEM tools like Splunk or SolarWinds, investigating anomalies, and coordinating remediation efforts.
- Oversee encryption techniques including PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) implementations, SSL/TLS protocols, and data encryption practices to secure sensitive information.
- Maintain network architecture documentation, perform vulnerability assessments, and implement security improvements based on best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams on cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure to secure cloud infrastructure and applications.
Requirements
- Proven experience with computer networking concepts including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), IPsec VPNs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP stack, and network protocols.
- Strong understanding of information security principles covering network security, incident management, disaster recovery planning, and high availability architectures.
- Hands-on knowledge of firewall management (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems, SIEM tools (Splunk or SolarWinds), and network monitoring software like PRTG or SolarWinds.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux distributions (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu), macOS, and Solaris.
- Skills in scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks; experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible or Terraform is a plus.
- Ability to implement security standards including NIST frameworks, ISO 27002 controls, ITIL practices for incident management and service delivery.
- Experience working with cloud architecture (AWS or Azure), virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere or Citrix XenDesktop, and open-source tools for system administration.
- Knowledge of network support procedures involving remote access software (SSH, RDP), LDAP/Active Directory integration, SSO solutions, and openSUSE Linux environments.
