We're looking for an Operational Supervisor to oversee a team of Cleaning Operatives, ensuring service levels are delivered to a high standard while maintaining compliance with BICS industry standards and all relevant health and safety requirements.
- Supervise a team of Cleaning Operatives, supporting day-to-day service delivery and ensuring agreed operating levels are maintained.
- Manage planned and unplanned absences, probation reviews, performance management, conduct matters and investigations in line with Mitie policies and procedures.
- Carry out stock checks for consumables and place orders through the approved internal process.
- Complete daily pre-job briefs and post-job reviews, ensuring key learning is shared with the wider team.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of working areas in line with the compliance schedule, helping to maintain safe and effective working practices.
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred, although training will be provided.
- IT literate, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team, with a good working knowledge and understanding of health and safety policies.
- Presentable, professional and helpful, representing Mitie's values on site at all times.
