Job Description: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The role ensures guests enjoy a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Remove trash and dispose of waste properly.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping needs.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of guest property.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Physical ability to complete the needs of the role.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Good communication skills and a customer service focused attitude.
