The Opportunity
We are looking for a number of enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our growing production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for practical, hands-on people who enjoy working with tools, making things and being part of a skilled manufacturing environment. We have opportunities within our Wood Fabrication, Metal Fabrication, Assembly and Powder Coating departments.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in a workshop, manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, construction, engineering or similar practical environment. However, attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important as previous experience, and full training will be provided.
Successful candidates will be placed within our Wood Fabrication, Metal Fabrication, Finishing or Powder Coating teams depending on their skills, experience and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Trimming, sanding and preparing furniture components and panels
- Finishing products by hand using a range of hand tools and workshop equipment
- Operating orbital sanders, sanding machinery and other production equipment
- Assisting skilled fabricators, makers and finishers with day-to-day production activities
- Learning and maintaining the quality standards and tolerances required for furniture manufacturing
- Supporting manufacturing operations within wood, metal, finishing or powder coating departments
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following company procedures and health and safety standards at all times
- Assisting with general workshop and production duties as required
- Undertaking training and development to expand skills and responsibilities
- Potential to learn and operate advanced machinery, including CNC equipment
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Good level of spoken English
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, hardworking and honest
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physically capable of carrying out workshop duties safely
- Full UK driving licence
- Own transport due to our rural location with limited public transport links
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
Desirable
- Previous experience within a workshop, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly or engineering environment
- Experience using hand tools and workshop machinery
- Experience working to quality standards and production deadlines
What We Offer
- Competitive salary of £29,000 – £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Overtime is available when required.
Please note that we occasionally operate early morning and afternoon/evening shift patterns. Applicants should be willing to work these shifts when required.
