St Leonard’s Hospice is recruiting a Management Accountant to join their small Finance team to deliver accurate, timely and insightful financial information. This role is essential in helping the Hospice make informed decisions that maximise resources and support high‑quality patient care.
This is a new role at the Hospice and as Management Accountant your main priorities will be to:
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Support budget holders with analysis and queries
- Analyse financial performance and contribute to strategic financial planning
This is a great time to join the team as we have recently undertaken a digital transformation project and as part of this a new finance system has been introduced. There will be an opportunity to work with the Head of Finance to continuously improve this system along with other processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to:
- Be part-qualified or fully qualified accountant
- Have significant experience of producing management accounts and financial analysis
- Have excellent organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively with internal key stakeholders

This is a full-time position based on-site at our main hospice site, working 37.5 hours per week in office hours, Monday to Friday. The salary band for this role is £40,190 - £48,396 per annum dependent on experience.
