Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role is essential in upholding our high standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
We are also looking for the individual to supprt our front of house team running Breakfast Service
Approximately 16 hours
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
- Replace linens, towels, and other amenities in guest rooms according to established standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry services as required, ensuring all items are cleaned and returned in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism.
- Restaurant service when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and custodial practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
