Job Overview
We are looking for a Kitchen Prep Assistant to help prepare food and support the kitchen team during functions, conferences, and events. This role is ideal for someone who works well in a busy environment and enjoys being part of a team.
Main Duties
- Prepare basic ingredients such as vegetables, salads, sandwiches, and buffet items
- Help chefs with food preparation before and during events
- Organize and store food items according to health and safety standards
- Keep kitchen and prep areas clean and tidy
- Help receive and unpack deliveries
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Help set up and clear down food service areas
- Follow food hygiene and safety standards (FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED)
- Assist with stock and deliveries when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Hardworking and reliable
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Good timekeeping
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
Working Hours & Salary
5 over 7 days and usual hours are 8am-4pm, 12pm-8pm, 2pm-10pm
