Phillips Construction Limited is an established construction company specialising in property repairs and reinstatement works for the insurance industry.
We work with a number of blue-chip clients across the South West, managing insurance repair claims ranging from approximately £500 to £1,000,000.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced individual to manage insurance repair projects across the South West.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Repairs Contracts Manager / Site Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of multiple insurance reinstatement projects.
The successful candidate must have previous experience within insurance repairs, property reinstatement or insurance-related construction works.
You will manage projects from instruction through to completion, acting as a key point of contact for policyholders while coordinating site operatives and subcontractors and reporting directly to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple insurance repair and reinstatement projects across the South West.
- Manage claims ranging in value from minor repairs of approximately £500 through to major reinstatement projects of up to £1,000,000.
- Liaise professionally with policyholders throughout the repair process.
- Coordinate and manage directly employed site operatives and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, workmanship and programme dates.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Identify and resolve site or project issues promptly.
- Manage materials, labour and site resources effectively.
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are followed.
- Maintain accurate project records and provide regular updates to management.
- Monitor project costs and work within agreed budgets and specifications.
- Represent Phillips Construction Limited professionally when dealing with clients, policyholders and other stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous insurance repair or reinstatement experience is essential.
- Proven experience managing construction or property repair projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and building repairs.
- Experience managing subcontractors and site operatives.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Confident dealing directly with policyholders, including sensitive or challenging situations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Full UK driving licence.
