Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Hotel Receptionist to join our welcoming team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and a strong understanding of hospitality standards. Fluency in multiple languages is desirable to assist our diverse clientele. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using the hotel management system.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are prepared and guest needs are met seamlessly.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, demonstrating friendliness, patience, and attentiveness at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel reception or customer service within the hospitality industry is a must.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional phone manner.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest records.
- Knowledge of Opera cloud hotel management software is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A friendly personality with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
