We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Deputy Registered Manager to join our vibrant care team. Your office will be in Holbeach , In this pivotal role, you will support the overall management of our Domiciliary Care Service in Boston.
A significant part of your role will involve overseeing a new 24/7 supported living package for a gentleman in his 30s who has learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern. He lives in his own home in Holbeach and requires person-centred support to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.

You will work closely with his dedicated support team to ensure he receives consistent, high-quality support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
Alongside this, you will support the management and development of our Boston Domiciliary Care Service, working with adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, providing leadership to staff teams and ensuring outstanding standards of care are maintained. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence positive outcomes for service users and staff development. You will be instrumental in assisting the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising care staff, and ensuring that every service user recieves personalized, respectful care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Registered Manager in coordinating all aspects of care delivery within the home, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs..
- Supervise and mentor care staff, fostering a motivated team committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and accuracy in line with best practices and legal guidelines.
- Monitor daily operations, including staffing levels, activities, and health & safety procedures, to maintain an efficient and safe environment.
- Lead by example in promoting a positive culture that values dignity, independence, and respect for all service users
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to ensure holistic support for service users physical and emotional well-being.
Skills
- Proven experience in Learning disabilties,autism and mental health and a strong background in senior care.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience within a domiciliary setting.
- Familiarity with developing and reviewing personalized care plans aligned with needs.
- Competence in medication administration and understanding of relevant legal frameworks governing medication management.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with service users , families, staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational abilities to oversee daily operations while maintaining attention to detail.
- Deliver induction training
- Deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
- Lead and support staff delivering complex person-centred support.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of a specialist supported living service.
- Supervise, mentor and develop support workers and senior staff.
- Carry out supervisions, competency assessments and appraisals.
- Complete care planning, risk assessments and reviews.
- Ensure compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards.
- Participate in the on-call rota where required.

Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
- Supervisory or management experience within health or social care.
- Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (minimum).
- Willingness to work towards or already hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Desirable
- Experience of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
- Experience managing domiciliary or supported living services.
- Knowledge of autism-specific approaches.
- Experience supporting people with mental health needs.
- Experience working with commissioners, social workers and multidisciplinary teams.
