Complex Care Support Worker

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Complex Care Support Worker to join a friendly team supporting a lady with a neuromuscular condition and high support needs, to live independently and enjoy a fulfilling life.
As part of a dedicated team of 6 Complex Care Support Workers, you will provide support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, clinical care, domestic tasks, and accompanying client on social outings and activities.
Previous experience in complex care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Experience supporting someone who uses 24-hour non-invasive ventilation (NIV) and has a PEG feeding tube would be an advantage but is not required.

The client lives in Manchester with her family. She has a warm, bubbly personality, a great sense of humour, and enjoys spending time with the people around her. She loves reading, trips to the cinema and theatre, and is a passionate football fan. She also enjoys watching crime dramas and soaps, and has a keen interest in history, politics, and gardening.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least two years' experience working in care (preferred)
- Has experience working in complex care
- Has experience working with ventilators or PEG tube
- Is kind, patient, compassionate, and person-centred.
- Has excellent listening and communication skills.
- Is willing to learn and develop new clinical skills through training.
- Works well as part of a team and has a strong work ethic.
- Is flexible, dependable, and has a good sense of humour.
