Job Overview
Window Doctor is a fast-growing, reactive maintenance company specialising in double glazing repairs, window and door servicing, and emergency call-outs.
We are looking for an experienced glazier / repair engineer to join our Coventry-based team. This is a full-time, field-based role covering the Midlands and surrounding areas.
This is not a “quote and leave” role — our engineers are expected to diagnose, quote, and complete repairs on-site wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Replace failed / misted double-glazed units
- Repair window and door mechanisms (locks, hinges, handles)
- Carry out adjustments on uPVC, aluminium, and timber frames
- Diagnose and repair sliding and bifold door issues
- Identify and resolve leaks (including conservatory roofs)
- Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high standards
- Provide clear and professional communication with customers
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in glazing or window/door repairs
- Strong fault-finding ability and hands-on experience
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- High standards of workmanship (no shortcuts or temporary fixes)
- Good customer-facing skills (professional and respectful at all times)
- Full UK driving licence (required)
