Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes and communities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of assistive devices.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in health care, long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic patient monitoring techniques is essential.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or autism is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with care plans and medication administration protocols is a plus.
