What We Are Looking For
We are seeking caring, compassionate, and professional individuals with excellent communication skills to join our specialist patient transport team.
You will be responsible for assisting patients to and from their hospital appointments, treatment centres, and other healthcare facilities.
About the Role
We are recruiting Ambulance Care Assistants (ACA) to support patients requiring safe, structured, and clinically aware transport.
This role involves transporting patients attending healthcare appointments, hospital admissions, discharges, and transfers between medical settings.
A Unique Opportunity
All successful candidates will receive fully funded FREC 3 (First Response Emergency Care Level 3) training, starting 27th July.
This is a rare and valuable opportunity, as FREC 3 is a nationally recognised pre‑hospital care qualification we are offering it completely free to successful applicants.
Applicants must already have ACA experience prior to joining the FREC 3 course.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients to and from hospitals, clinics, mental health facilities, and other healthcare settings
- Provide compassionate support throughout each journey
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure patient safety and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Follow company policies, care standards, and safety procedures
Essential Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence (no more than 3 points)
- Full Enhanced DBS
- A calm, caring, and professional approach
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must already have ACA experience and be willing to do in house ACA training.
- Availability to attend FREC 3 training starting on 27th July
