Baker
Days Bakery are looking for a baker to join its growing team who are passionate about speciality bread and high-quality products. Established in 1741 and with a growing 13 shops, Days Bakery is known for being one of the oldest bakeries in the country.
We have an established bakery in Ashwell where our head office is based. The successful candidate will be required to work here full time.
We are looking for a baker who is ready to take the next step in their career and move into a more hands on, family run business.
Role & responsibilities
- Follow compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Measure and mix ingredients to prepare dough or batter for various baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes and other bakery products.
- Keep on top of baking schedules to ensure all products are fresh and available throughout the day.
- Monitor ovens during the baking process.
- Ensure work spaces are clean and tidy and adhere to EHO standards.
Requirements for the role
- Baker experience 1+ years preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Work well individually as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently.
- Work well under time constraints and has good time management.
- Strong attention to detail for food preparation and presentation.
