Job Opportunity - Calf-Rearer wanted on a farm near Church Stretton in South Shropshire.
We have a member looking for a part time Calf-Rearer on a regular flexible rota.
The role may be ideal for a farmer's son / daughter looking to earn some extra money away from their own farm, or someone already working in the industry, who is needing extra hours.
Duties would involve :
- Feeding - using a milk trailer.
- Cleaning out - washing of all equipment.
- Health checks - daily checks on all calves.
- General farm work - helping when needed.
- Assisting with vaccinating / dehorning programme.
A competitive rate of pay offered dependent on experience.
No accommodation available, so candidate must have their own transport.
