Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf
Start Date: Tuesday 1 September 2026
Duration: At least 6 weeks (until half term)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay: £160-£225 per day
We are urgently seeking a Painting & Decorating / Construction Lecturer for a full-time position at a Further Education college in the Rhondda Cynon Taf.
We are particularly interested in candidates with:

Experience teaching Construction-related programmes within Further Education

Experience delivering and assessing Level 2 learners

Strong vocational knowledge and current industry experience within construction

Relevant construction qualifications

A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
Teaching experience is preferred, but experienced construction professionals looking to move into teaching are also encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, learner support, assessment, administration and curriculum-related duties.
