*Please note, this will be an intended freelance / part time position with the potential to move to a full time role.
We’re not your typical FMCG business - we are a small team of 4 at the beginning of a period of growth so we will be growing the team and evolving the brand aggressively over the next year. You will be working directly with the founders James and Jade and will have direct impact and experience in all areas of the business as we grow the business.
Now we are on the hunt for a talented social media manager to be an integral part of the team and a key part of our growth.
Responsibilities.
We want someone who’ll get stuck in to everything they do; eager to learn, not shy with their ideas and able to work in a fast paced and often hectic startup environment. We need someone who’s got bundles of energy and sky-high ambitions. Your responsibility will be to help drive our digital marketing strategy, raising brand awareness through multiple means. In focus this will involve:
- Executing the marketing calendar online, driving effective campaigns throughout the year to support new listings, new product launches and major events.
- Develop and track key metrics to measure growth of brand awareness online and effective traffic to the website through social activity.
- Work with the wider team to maximise awareness of retail promotions or activity where relevant. Amplifying the teams offline activity through social platforms.
- Management of online content including website blog and social media, ensuring we are always building & growing our community and brand awareness. Build a strong content calendar.
- Developing TikTok as a new platform for the brand. Building an effective strategy, plan and ongoing fresh and original content.
- Forge regular, on-going partnerships with like-minded brands to build awareness with new audiences.
- Lead influencer programs and manage the ambassador community, building relationships with a variety of influencers online that help grow awareness and achieve objectives.
Experience:
- Confident and energetic person with a go getter attitude.
- Comfortable in front of a camera or interacting with public / other brands.
- A challenger attitude - we are in a massively competitive space, so having great ideas and problem-solving skills are essential to success.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent written and communication communicator, organisation skills and ability to hit deadlines.
- Social & digital wizardry – to capitalise on the ever-evolving social media landscape, support the marketing team to deliver brilliant integrated strategies and activities, develop creative content and manage communication with our online community.
- Someone who loves and understands TikTok, Instagram and other social media platforms -following the latest social trends and marketing updates is a MUST.
