Flapjackery is an award-winning South West business, specialising in handmade gluten-free flapjacks, chocolates and gifts. Founded in Devon, we now operate a growing network of shops across the South West.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, commercially minded Shop Manager to lead our shop at 2 New Bond Street Place, Bath, BA1 1BH.
Flapjackery has two shops in Bath, including our second location on Pulteney Bridge, which opened this year.
This is a hands-on management role for someone who is passionate about retail, food and excellent customer service. You will lead the team from the front, take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the shop and help drive its commercial performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the shop team, ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency
- Drive sales through excellent customer service, merchandising and upselling
- Monitor shop KPIs including sales, conversion and average transaction value
- Manage stock levels, deliveries, wastage and stock rotation
- Ensure the shop is commercially focused and well presented at all times
- Deliver outstanding customer service and brand experience
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally
- Maintain excellent visual merchandising and presentation standards
- Recruit, train and motivate the shop team
- Produce rotas and manage staffing levels effectively
- Lead by example within the shop environment
- Support performance management where required
Pay: £27,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
