Most job ads are written by committee to offend nobody and excite nobody. This one isn't. We'd rather put off 99 of the wrong people and land the one right one — so here it is straight, no BS.
Progressive Property is the UK's leading property training business. Founded in 2007 by Rob Moore and Mark Homer, we've helped hundreds of thousands of ordinary people learn how to make, manage and multiply money through property. Our mission is simple: help as many people on this planet achieve investor freedom, choice and profit. We teach what we do — our founders and trainers are active investors, not theorists.
We sell education that changes people's financial lives. When our sales teams win, a customer starts a journey that can genuinely change their family's future. If you can't sell with that level of conviction — ethically, relentlessly, proudly — stop reading now.
The job
We're not hiring someone to monitor dashboards and forward reports. We're hiring a leader to own the commercial engine of this business — every pound of sales revenue, and every person who generates it. You will run:
· The sales floor. Two teams, around 30 people: our Customer Engagement Team (top-of-funnel, phone-based, high energy) and our Customer Development Team (developing and converting existing customers into our high-value programmes). You lead the leaders of both.
· Event sales. We run live events, masterclasses and superconferences all year round. Selling in the room is a core Progressive skill — you own the numbers that come out of it.
· Sponsorship. Our events, podcast audience and brand reach give us serious sponsorship inventory. Today it is under-monetised. You will build it into a proper revenue line.
· Our networks — PPN and PBN. The Progressive Property Network and Progressive Business Network: nationwide communities of investors and entrepreneurs. You own their commercial growth — membership, retention and revenue.
You'll sit on the senior leadership team, report to the Managing Director, and work directly with them and founders. Rob and Mark are hands-on, opinionated and demanding. If you need three layers of management between you and the owners to feel safe, this isn't your job.
What winning looks like
· Sales revenue grows — predictably, month after month, across phone, events and networks. Not one good quarter. Compounding.
· Conversion rates and revenue-per-head rise because your people are better trained, better led and better held to account — not because you shout louder.
· You build an elite sales culture: recruit A-players, coach them daily, exit passengers fast and fairly. The best salespeople in the industry should want to work on your floor.
· Sponsorship goes from opportunistic to systematic — a managed portfolio with targets, owners and renewals.
· PPN and PBN grow in members, retention and revenue — communities people are proud to belong to and pay to stay in.
· Everything is measured. You live in the numbers (we run Salesforce), you know your pipeline cold, and you never bring a problem to the board without a plan.
Who you are
· 15+ years in sales, with serious leadership miles. You've led sales floors and sales leaders, not just carried a bag. You are a proven high-flier with a track record you can evidence line by line — and you'll be asked to.
· B2C, high-ticket, direct sales DNA. You understand selling life-changing products to consumers over the phone and in the room — training, education, coaching, events, or comparable high-ticket B2C. Corporate enterprise-software pedigree alone will not cut it here.
· A builder of people. Your proudest wins are the salespeople you made great. You coach on the floor, run deal reviews that sharpen people, and create a culture where winning is normal and ethics are non-negotiable.
· Commercially greedy for the business, personally accountable. You spot revenue others walk past — sponsorship, partnerships, memberships — and you go get it. When numbers miss, you own it first and fix it fast.
· Data-driven, not data-hiding. CRM-literate (Salesforce ideally), metrics-obsessed, allergic to vanity numbers.
· Resilient. This is a fast, direct, founder-led business. We move quickly, we debate hard, we change course when the market tells us to. Start now, get perfect later is how we operate.
Who this is not for
If you manage by email from a home office, need a big corporate brand to open doors for you, think 'strategy' means a 40-slide deck, or you're winding down towards an easy final chapter — don't apply. This is a building job, in the office, in Peterborough, shoulder to shoulder with your teams. If you don't risk anything, you risk everything — and staying comfortable where you are is a risk too.
The deal
· £100k–£120k base, plus uncapped target earnings on top, with the structure weighted to performance — the better the business does, the better you do.
· A genuine seat at the top table of a £multi-million founder-led group — your voice in strategy, not just your name on a target sheet.
· Direct access to two founders who have built, scaled and monetised brands, audiences and property portfolios for nearly two decades — you will learn as much as you earn.
· The platform: an established brand, a huge audience, tens of thousands of customers, live events all year and communities across the UK. The raw material is here. Your job is to turn more of it into revenue.
