Overview:
We are a growing construction company delivering high-quality residential projects across Glasgow. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Joinery Foreman to lead site-based joinery works and manage a small team of tradespeople.
The Role:
As Joinery Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of joinery on residential sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate joinery teams on site
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Ensure quality workmanship across all first and second fix joinery
- Manage materials, tools, and site logistics
- Maintain health & safety standards and site compliance
- Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Monitor progress and report on project timelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joinery Foreman or Senior Joiner
- Strong background in residential construction
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent knowledge of joinery techniques and materials
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
