Reports to: Resort Manager
Part time position: 16 hours Sunday to Tuesday (No accommodation available)
Purpose:
Your duties are to help in the smooth running of the resort working with our existing team. You will be responsible for ensuring apartments are well maintained, ensure the public areas of the resort are maintained throughout the day. Assist the maintenance supervisor with any renovations, painting etc. Help with any housekeeping duties needed and to ensure the swimming pool is kept clean and tidy and regular water testing of the pool is carried out. Undertake basic plant room checks.
Main Areas of Accountability:
- To comply with all Club policies and procedures to ensure that all-statutory regulations are observed.
- Carry out all duties assigned individually
- Report all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service to management/maintenance
- To attend training to uphold the conditions of the health and safety policies
- To undertake any reasonable requests made of you by the company including flexibility in hours, location and responsibilities
- Be willing to help wherever possible and to understand the flexibility required when business levels peak and trough, to deliver the best possible service
- To ensure that all statutory regulations are observed and that all learning and development complies with these requirements
- To comply with all security and maintenance measures to ensure your own safety and the protection of guests and company property
- To comply with all policies and procedures as written in the Employee Handbook
- React to all customer requests positively and deal with them appropriately, seeking help and guidance when necessary
- Assist with the on-call emergency phone in the evenings

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ambleside, Cumbria: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
