Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, practical individual with a good attention to detail who is keen to join a dynamic workforce that serves the needs of the UK Electricity Industry.
The position will involve basic metal fabrication and assembly of switchgear or insulator assemblies for the Electricity Industry. Other occasional duties may include general distribution and warehouse work to support other areas of the business during certain busy periods.
Full training will be given so if you are keen, willing and are able to turn up on time every day with the right attitude then this job is for you!!

This position if full time and permanent upon completion of a successful 3 month trial period.
Working hours are based on a 35.5 hour working week.
The normal working hours are 6.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Thursday and 6.00am to 12.00pm Friday.
Overtime will also be required as necessary and paid at the agreed rates.
The position offers 20 days holiday per year plus statutory public holidays
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Experience in basic fabrication and the use of various hand tools/basic machinery would be an advantage. Also the ability to understand engineering drawings and quality control methods. You will work along side our experienced assembly team and be taught how to assemble the range of equipment and how to operate various machinery throughout the department.
A current counter-balance fork lift truck licence would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
The Company operates a flexible policy to support the needs of the business and working as part of a small team the successful candidate may be expected to fulfil other tasks as required.
