Bar & Hospitality Staff – AJ’s Sports Lounge
AJ’s Sports Lounge is looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking team members to join our growing venue.
We have Part-Time (0-hours) and Full-Time contracts available, with flexible hours to suit the right candidates.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Serving customers and taking food and drink orders
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and soft drinks
- Working confidently behind the bar
- Assisting with food preparation and kitchen duties when required
- Cleaning and maintaining high standards throughout the venue
- Cleaning and maintaining our pool tables and equipment to a high professional standard
- Ensuring pool tables, cues, balls and other equipment are kept clean, tidy and in excellent condition
- Cleaning tables, floors, bar areas and customer facilities
- Restocking fridges, bar areas and supplies
- Supporting the team during busy periods and events
- Following licensing, food hygiene, health & safety and venue procedures
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous bartending/bar experience
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good communication skills
- Able to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Evening and weekend availability
Desirable:
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience
- Food hygiene certificate
- Previous hospitality, pub, restaurant or sports bar experience
- Knowledge or interest in pool, darts and sport
Hours
Flexible hours available, including evenings and weekends.
We are looking for people who are trustworthy, energetic, hardworking and passionate about providing great customer service.
Experience in hospitality is important, but attitude and reliability are equally important to us.
Contracts Available
Part-Time – 0 Hours ContractIdeal for someone looking for flexible shifts around other commitments.
Full-Time Contract,Regular hours available for the right candidate.
