Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi Trade Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across various trades. We run reactive and planned maintenance contracts as well as fit outs and new site openings in the UK restaurant brand sector. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical knowledge, leadership qualities, and excellent customer service skills. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, floor laying tasks will be valued and utilised to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Duties
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment across multiple trades, maybe including, carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, painting, decorating and general maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately carry out installations and repairs.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime..
- Lead small projects or tasks independently, ensuring safety standards and quality are maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service by liaising with clients or internal departments regarding work progress or issues.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, parts used, and any issues encountered during operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during work activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in MultI Trade construction works.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance or repair of machinery.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Customer service experience is advantageous for liaising effectively with clients or internal teams.
