Ledridge Lighting – Bespoke LED Lighting Manufacturer

We are recruiting for an organised and accurate team player to work in our workshop. Your duties will include assembling LED Lighting and working within the workshop area. You would need to be at a competent level of soldering. Preference of LED tape soldering would be ideal.
Full time and permanent, the hours will be;
Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Friday - 8:00am - 3:30pm
1 Hour unpaid lunchbreak

Duties:
- Assemble, install LED lighting fixtures and control systems according to project specifications
- Troubleshoot electrical and technical issues promptly to minimize downtime during workshops and events
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure lighting setups meet creative requirements
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on all LED equipment
- Authority and responsibility to initiate action to prevent nonconformity, identify and record all problems relating to the product, process, and quality system, initiate or recommend solutions
- Inspect and test soldered joints for defects using visual and following company quality control checks
- Maintain safe working environment by following company safety procedures.
- Maintain, clean - Soldering irons, hot air stations, and tips
- Document technical procedures following all Health & Safety procedures
- Assist in testing new LED products and integrating them into existing setups for optimal performance
Experience:
Experience in these areas would be an advantage.
- Proven experience working with LED lighting systems, including installation and troubleshooting
- Ability to work in a team based environment and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to read, understand and follow detail drawing and work instruction
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, circuitry, and control protocols for LED fixtures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for fine detail work
- Ability to use small hand tools, wire strippers, and magnification equipment
- Prior experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
