We are currently looking for an HGV driver to join our Plant Hire Depot which is based in Rochford, Essex.

This driving position offers you the opportunity to work regular hours for a local company delivering plant equipment such as diggers & dumpers to the surrounding areas. This role will not involve overnight stays or require you to be driving throughout the night.
This role is currently a Monday - Friday position, between 07.30 and 5.00pm.
Responsibilities and Duties
- As a Driver you will provide a safe, reliable and effective delivery & collection service for Mark One Plant Hire.
- Although this role is primarily as a driver, during times that you are not driving you may be required to assist in the yard with general duties.
- You will be required to carry out deliveries and collections to our customers in an efficient and professional manner, whilst being safe, responsible and adhering to the traffic laws and Highway Code at all times.
- Keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using paperwork and handheld devices provided.
- As the face of the company you will represent Mark One and portray a professional and business-like image to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work.
- You will be responsible for carrying out daily vehicle checks, ensuring any defects found are reported to your Manager.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- A Full valid driving licence with appropriate entitlements
- Digital Tacho Card
- Experience of working in a commercial driving environment driving 19t vehicles
- The ability to produce and keep accurate paperwork
- Excellent customer service skills and superb communication skills, both face to face and over the telephone
- Full Driver CPC card (Continuous training available)
- The ability to work as part of a team

Pay: £32,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
