The purpose of the Group Sales Manager is to drive all aspects of retail sales through the leadership of a team of store managers, and to ensure that our customers are receiving the highest delivery of retail operating standards. This role will cover all of the Kellys stores operating under the Vivo, Vivo Xtra, Spar and Eurospar brand in Mid Ulster.
Working as Group Sales Manager you will:
- Drive sales at Retail level to ensure maximum performance versus budgets.
- Provide strategic direction to your store managers through effective communication and performance management processes.
- Influence and persuade customers or new lines and promotions maximising opportunities and displays.
- Manage customer loyalty and satisfaction through availability, standards, consistency and cleanliness using daily floor walks with managers and following up with action plans.
- Analysing store manager performance, through weekly feedback reports working on plans to enhance opportunity or support where necessary.
- Monitor all planning and development activity to identify retail development opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective business development plans for stores.
- Work with store managers to help them improve their goals on sales, waste, reductions, wages and unknown loss.
- Build successful relationships internally within the Kelly Group as well as with Hendersons

Skills for Success
Joining us as Group Sales Manager the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
- Proven experience of successfully managing a retail store or similar job role.
- Experience of managing teams across various departments.
- Experience of driving retail sales against set budgets.
- Experience of NI food retail market.
- Proficient in MS Office packages.
- Current UK/EU Driving License.
This is a full-time position working 42.5 hours per week on salary.
