Our acute diabetes and endocrinology wards provide high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals with complex medical needs, including those with mental health conditions. Each ward has a unique specialty:
Vickers 3 is the designated haven for individuals with eating disorders, providing holistic and compassionate care tailored to their needs.

As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in leading, inspiring, and supporting a team of skilled professionals. This position offers the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, influence patient care, and contribute to service development within a thriving, fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for:
Delivering exceptional nursing care, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compassion.
Leading by example, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence.
Supporting the professional development and well-being of staff through mentorship, appraisals, and education.
Coordinating patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Contributing to the implementation of evidence-based practices and innovative approaches to diabetes, endocrinology, and mental health care.
