Role Description
At an exciting time of growth and expansion, Living North is looking to build its events team with an Event Sales Executive. You will work on our respected events portfolio to increase revenue while enhancing the exhibitor experience through excellent organisational and customer service skills. You will be responsible for reaching sales targets, with the potential to earn generous bonuses based on each event’s success. You will work as part of a wider team to ensure smooth operations and marketing activity across our portfolio, to maintain our excellent reputation.
This role is a great opportunity for an ambitious, commercially-minded person with a keen interest in events to develop and progress as part of our established and leading portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifying and developing new business relationships with potential exhibitors
- Managing relationships with existing exhibitors
- Working as part of a team to manage availability, to reach sales targets and ensure an excellent exhibitor experience
- Develop marketing plans to increase awareness and tickets sales as part of the events strategy
- Advance the team's commercial and client management conversations
The successful candidate will have:
- At least one year’s experience in a commercial role
- Keen understanding of the UK events and exhibition landscape
- Knowledge of marketing and communications strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in person
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- An eye for detail
- Experience working to targets
- Accurate research skills and knowledge of the North East and/or Yorkshire is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills

Pay: £25,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
