The value of the MEP projects tend to be anywhere from £1m through to around £50m and the sectors are mainly large scale residential, retirement, student accommodation and hotels.
Joining a very successful and high performing team, day to day your main duties will be to:
- Produce detailed, cost effective and competitive tender bids, managing the process right through to post-tender
- Produce accurate Take-Offs
- Liaise with existing and prospective clients closely
- Work with existing and new subcontractors and suppliers
- Build relationships with team colleagues, counterparties and external clients at all times
- Support and develop relationships with other teams such as design, contracts and procurement
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and costing implications
- Maintain high quality standards at all times
To succeed and really fly in this fantastic role and team, we are expecting the successful applicant to have:
- A deep mechanical bias, but also an appreciation of electrical services
- Strong commercial acumen underpinned by a grip of the numbers
- Experience across major residential, commercial, student accommodation, hotels, health or similar
- A wide breadth of subcontractor and supplier knowledge
- A confident team-playing personality with a positive can-do attitude
- Ideally experience of Trimble software
