We currently have various operator positions open including MDF Trainee Press Operator & MDF Boiler/Utilities Operator and Tongue & Groove Operators.
Either on a 4 shift pattern, 12 hour shifts, or a 5 shift pattern working a mixture of 8 & 12 hour shift.
£14.48 per hour basic, plus Shift Premium & Weekend Premium - average 38 hour working week.
The successful applicant will:
- Be responsible for setting, loading and running machines in a safe and efficient manner.
- Highlight and record any Safety or operational concerns.
- Risk Assess the tasks
- Carry out standard checks on equipment and work area
- Forklift driving is a large part of these roles
- Follow Permit to Work and Isolation procedures
- Quality checks
- Routine Cleaning tasks
Qualifications/Experience:
- Forklift experience would be advantageous
- Previous Production/Manufacturing Experience preferred
Skills, knowledge & behaviours:
- Basic PC Skills
- Willingness to learn
- Works productively in a pressurised environment.
