We are looking for reliable and motivated Courier Car & Van Drivers to join our growing team. Drivers may use their own car for home parcel deliveries or a company van for larger delivery routes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of parcels and goods while providing excellent customer service. This role suits individuals who enjoy driving, working independently, and meeting delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a vehicle to transport parcels and goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members regarding delivery updates or issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures and tracking information.
- Comply with all road traffic regulations and company procedures.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Support warehouse operations when required, including sorting and organising parcels.
Requirements
- Full valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous courier, delivery, logistics, or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to lift and move packages safely when required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good organisational and time-management abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
- A positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction.
