We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and confidence.
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding their child's development and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education are met.
- Manage behaviour effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among children.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early years education is essential, with nursery experience being highly desirable.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their development through play-based learning.
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are preferred.
