Senior Quality Engineer
8:00 – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00 to 1:30pm Friday
Tritech Group are manufacturing experts and suppliers of precision products to global Aerospace and other relevant industry giants.
The Senior Quality Engineer will ensure that products and processes meet strict standards and customer requirements. They will play a key role in maintaining product and process compliance, improving quality systems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal, and effective communication skills are an essential part of the role. There will be a willingness to undertake, upon request, any relevant task they are asked and able to perform. Elements of the role may vary as new technology, procedures and equipment are introduced and as the department priorities may change from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, maintain and audit quality procedures and standards (e.g. AS9100).
· Conduct and coach RCA and CAPA for non-conformances in product, process and people.
· Lead internal and external audits and train others.
· Review and validate engineering specifications and manufacturing processes for quality compliance.
· Lead engineering, production, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
· Monitor and report on key quality metrics and trends.
· Manage customer and regulatory audits and inspections.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 8D, FMEA.
· Deputise for Quality Manager.

Qualifications
· Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (equivalent experience in engineering/management).
· Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements.
· Qualified in quality tools and methodologies with certificate (e.g., SPC, PPAP, CAPA, APQP).
· Qualified AS9100 Internal auditor with certificate (will consider automotive or with good demonstrable experience).
Desired Experience
· Chartered Quality Engineer (CQE) by professional body.
· Experience with aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
· Familiarity with tools like Minitab, ERP, QMS systems.
· Understanding of casting processes, especially investment/lost wax.
· Working knowledge of machining environment and principles.
· Metrology understanding and experience (CMM, xray, NDT, calibration)

Salary: Negotiable DOE
Pension: 5% min personal contribution, Company contribution of 3%
